Making the right choice for you
You may have heard the term Mediation when referring to child contact arrangements. Michael Spoors Solicitors frequently refer clients to mediators; independent and fully trained individuals who facilitate a safe environment and support parents to come to an agreement about issues regarding children without having to go to court. Mediation isn’t always successful, or appropriate, in some cases and therefore the court will make the decision on the particular issue by imposing a Child Arrangement Order – directing who a child lives with, contact arrangements, etc.
